Invited talk by Dr. Rajasingh Johnson

We are delighted to host Dr. Rajasingh Johnson, Associate Professor , University of Tennessee, USA for a special invited talk at our department.

Dr. Johnson's research focuses on novel strategies to enhance the therapeutic benefits of stem cells in regenerative medicine. In this regard, he has reprogrammed somatic cells (normal and patients) by a safe approach using mRNA of pluripotent factors to generate induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and further differentiated them into various kinds of cells, including cardiomyocytes (rhythmic beating cardiomyocytes in vitro). Let's hear Dr. Rajasingh Johnson's talk titled, "Is umbilical cord-derived stem cells needed to be stored for future therapy?"
