Department of Science and Technology(DST, Govt. of India) encourages college students who are interested in research by providing good lab facilities to carry out research during summer holidays and also scholarships are provided till their pre-Ph.D level. DST offers this opportunity through a program "KVPY - Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana" and the "fellowship" is awarded for selected students.
