Over the past decade, Regenerative Medicine has
emerged as a promising therapeutic alternative for various diseases. A Virtual
Symposium on Stem Cell Research and Regenerative Medicine is being organised by
Dr. A Devi, Stem Cell and Cancer Biology Laboratory, SRM Institute of Science
and Technology, Kattankulathur, India on 23rd February, 2022. With a panel of esteemed speakers including
Dr. Indumathi Mariappan, (Research Scientist, Centre for Ocular Regeneration,
LV Prasad Eye Institute Hyderabad), Dr. Tina Mukherjee (Professor and Dean, Institute
for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine, Bangalore), Dr. Sudha Warrier
(Additional Professor, Manipal Institute of Regenerative Medicine, Bangalore)
the goal of the symposium is to enlighten participants on the recent
developments in Tissue Engineering and Stem Cell Therapy.
